The world’s most famous opera tells the story of a gorgeous gypsy with a
red hot temper. Bizet’s Carmen flirts her way into a tumultuous relationship
with Don José, whose jealousy leads to mutiny, crime and ultimately, murder.
This superb, lush concert staged production is overseen by the inimitable
Italian opera director Vaccari. Ah, l’amour!
Join us for a dress rehearsal chat about Carmen and Vaccari’s role in
rebuilding the famous Petruzzelli Theatre in Bari, Italy.
